Ep. 316 - Is It Lucky Girl Syndrome or Intuition?

Is it lucky girl syndrome, or just listening to my intuition? This week on the podcast, we’re talking about what happens when you learn your own intuitive language and actually use it in your everyday life. Your intuition isn’t only for the big, life-changing moments. I use mine when I’m booking a flight, making plans, deciding what time to leave, figuring out if I need a backup plan, and even when I’m trying to catch a ferry. I’m sharing a story about catching the ferry twice when, logically, it looked like we probably weren’t going to make it. Both times, I kept checking in with myself. Should I be worried? Should I make a backup plan? Should I be feeling anxious about this? But every time I checked in, I still didn’t have a bad feeling. And both times, we made it onto the ferry as one of the last few cars. The same thing happened when WestJet went on strike. Everything around me was giving me a reason to worry, but internally, I felt like my flight was going to be fine. I had this knowing that I was going to go to sleep, wake up, and the strike would be over. And it was. Then there was the flight I needed to book. I knew that when I saw the right flight, I would know. I saw it, I got the feeling, and I booked it. Easy. Fast. Done. This is why learning your own intuition matters. What is your yes? What is your no? What does a red light feel like? What does a green light feel like? What does pause, slow down, or wait feel like for you? We all have this ability, but you have to learn your own manual. And of course, we have a follow-up to last week’s episode. First, my doorbell was aggressively ringing when this same friend came over. This time? The fire alarm decided to join the conversation. The more I listen to my intuition, the easier and faster I can move through decisions because I know what I’m looking for and, more importantly, what I’m feeling. So, is it lucky girl syndrome? Or do you just need to listen? Your intuition called, and you should probably answer. So pay attention. It’s rarely random.
