Description
When God’s glory leaves the temple and Israel goes into exile, it appears that everything has fallen apart. But even in exile, God tells his scattered people that he has been a sanctuary for them.
In this message from The God Who Comes, Nate traces the story through Ezekiel and Jeremiah: the glory leaving the temple, God’s promise of a new heart, the hope of a new covenant, and an Old Testament story still waiting for resolution. Then, at the Passover table, Jesus takes the cup and says, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood.”
The story has been moving toward him.
