Governance Gets Real: Purview Delays, Edge Policy Changes, and Workflow Controls

This week’s Rundown is concentrated on the controls around modern work: Purview endpoint and retention coverage, Edge behavior changes, Teams shared-space settings, Outlook policy management, and a substantial set of delivery-date changes across Teams and compliance features. Also: two roadmap entries are explicitly cancelled, and realtime Copilot voice in Word and PowerPoint is heading back to development for an updated release. Production note: This episode was created using AI-assisted production and synthetic voices. Roadmap information is sourced from the official Microsoft 365 Roadmap.
