The Legend of Sleepy Hollow | The Headless Horseman | Full Narration

A sleepy valley. A superstitious schoolmaster. And a headless rider said to haunt the road after dark. Tonight on Midnight Murmurs, experience Washington Irving’s legendary tale, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” Ichabod Crane has heard every ghost story the Hollow has to offer — especially the story of the Headless Horseman, a spectral Hessian who rides through the night in search of his lost head. But after leaving the Van Tassel farm alone beneath a dark autumn sky, Ichabod discovers that the stories may be closer to reality than he ever wanted to believe. A classic story of folklore, fear, rivalry, and one unforgettable midnight pursuit.
