Send us Fan Mail The Henderson ball is one of the later ones of the London Season of 1818, and it is a most sort after invitation, and Horatia finds herself watching our Regency Rake, as he goes through his paces in the dance floor, heads above the other gentlemen on the floor. Like all Rakes they like to move on to another conquest, as they get bored quickly, but there is one lady in his heart and he’s now not sure that he will ever win her heart, in  My Rake’s Progress  Written by Miss Louisa Ayling. Horatia is determined to stay in her favourite position at one of the later balls of the London Season of 1818, and this is where her friend Melissa found her and had some interesting news, as they both watch Matthias on the dance floor with his latest mistress. Matthias is very aware of Horatia’s presence at the ball, they dance their usual waltz, but he makes a wrong move after meeting at Trench House and a journey to return Horatia home.
