Description
Hellooo lovely people of MOS. We’re recording from home again this week, but we promise we’ll be back to regular programming next time!
This one’s a bit of a heavy conversation: we talk about the recent cases of assault against women and the fear, anger and exhaustion they’ve left us feeling. Once again, we’re asking: when will women be able to step out of their homes and feel safe? Will we see that happen in our lifetime? And how do we live with the constant worry that something could happen every time we step out?
We also ask whether Mumbai is actually as safe as we keep telling ourselves it is, and talk about the things we do to protect ourselves (even though that responsibility should NOT actually be on us).
We’d like to hear how you’ve been feeling too. Leave your thoughts in the comments, and share this episode with someone you’d want to have this conversation with.
See you next week. Take care of yourselves and each other.
