Everyday Mission

September 13, 2026David ComstockIn 1 Thessalonians 4:9–12, Paul describes a life shaped by love, faithfulness, and purpose in the everyday. In Matthew 28:16–20, Jesus sends His followers into the world, reminding us that our mission isn't necessarily about going somewhere extraordinary, but about living faithfully wherever God has already placed us.In this message from our Good News series, we explore:• Why following Jesus means being sent, not simply sitting together• How God uses ordinary places, relationships, and routines for His purposes• Why we need a theology of the ordinary instead of chasing the spectacular• How stewardship, service, and our speech can become part of God's redemptive workYour everyday life is not an obstacle to God's mission. Your work, home, neighborhood, friendships, and family can become places where you cultivate life and reflect the good news of Jesus.📖 Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:9–12; Matthew 28:16–20✨ Series: Good News⛪ Learn more about Mosaic: https://welcometomosaic.com#MissionInTheOrdinary #1Thessalonians4 #Matthew28 #GoodNews #MosaicChurch
