Description

What does it mean that Jesus washes the disciples’ feet—and gives them His Body and Blood—on the night He is betrayed?

In this Maundy Thursday sermon, we see the deepest condescension of Christ. Knowing that He would soon suffer, be forsaken, and die under the Father’s wrath, Jesus does not withdraw. He stoops. He serves. He feeds His people with His own Body and Blood for the forgiveness of sins.

This is not simply an example of humility—it is the Gospel. The eternal Son of God comes not to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.

📍 St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church (UAC)
Magnolia, Texas — Serving Magnolia, The Woodlands, and Montgomery County

🔔 Visit us: www.stthomastx.church
📅 Join us for Divine Service Sundays at 9:00 AM

Klein Funeral Home
Magnolia-The Woodlands
14711 FM 1488
Magnolia, Texas 77354
