He also wrote for HBO’s Veep, for which he won his Emmy, as well as Avenue 5, and has written extensively for radio and television. His latest novel, The Hyena, is a surreal alternate-history story about a forgotten artist whose extraordinary life brings her into contact with figures including Frida Kahlo and Salvador Dalí.
