Nehemiah

The people dedicate the wall, Nehemiah leaves, and sin returns.

In response to the reading of the word, the nation comes to reckon with the requirements of God's Law and repent in a true and lasting way.

Nehemiah's true mission is accomplished in bringing the people to a place of repentance and obedience to the word, thus creating a picture of end times events for Israel.

With the wall complete, the enemy moves to distract, discredit and disqualify Nehemiah's leadership.

Nehemiah must respond to attacks both from outside the camp and inside the camp.
