The Jesus they rejected is the One God exalted. The One they condemned, God vindicated. The One they crucified, heaven enthroned. And when that truth lands, the crowd is cut to the heart. Their understanding of Jesus is overturned, and suddenly they realize the One they rejected is the only One who can save them. Peter’s answer is not complicated: repent. Don’t simply add Jesus to your schedule—turn from the old life and walk toward Him. And then comes the incredible promise: the Holy Spirit is not reserved for a spiritual elite. This gift is extended to ordinary people, families, generations, and all whom the Lord calls. So today, read Acts 2:22–41 and pray for hearts to be pierced, repentance to come, grace to be received, and souls to be gathered.
