"To Walk a Mile"

What keeps us from moving toward the people who need us most? Sometimes it is not a lack of compassion, but the feeling that the problems are too big and we have too little to give. Jesus invites us to begin with one person, one act of kindness, and one step of faith. As we learn to see others, offer what we have, and walk alongside them, we discover that serving our neighbors is not about fixing everything. It is about faithfully showing up and making room for the love of God to be known.
