I Want Jesus. And I Don’t. (Why James Calls Me Adulterous)

SEP 13, 202639 MIN

Description

That tension. James has a word for it: double-souled. And if you don't do something about it, it's going to tear you apart. In this message, we begin our study of what scholars believe to be the earliest New Testament writing: the Letter of James. But this letter has quite an edge to it. His message can be summed up in three words: "You adulterous people." So that needs some explaining. Who exactly is this James? And what could he possibly mean calling me adulterous? If you (like me) have ever found yourself fully devoted to Jesus... and not fully devoted to Jesus... at the same time, this message is for you.
