Frank Gilhooley

This week on Not Another Football Podcast, we’re joined by Scottish actor Frank Gilhooley. Frank sits down with Jackie McNamara and Simon Donnelly to look back on his career in television and acting, sharing stories from some of the roles and productions that have shaped his journey. He opens up about the reality of life as an actor and discusses some of the more difficult and challenging roles he has taken on, including what it takes to portray characters and stories that deal with serious subject matter. Away from acting, Frank talks about his charity work abroad and the experiences that have given him a very different perspective on life outside of the entertainment industry. The conversation also covers football, life away from the screen and plenty of stories from a fascinating career. A brilliant chat about acting, challenging roles, giving back and the experiences that have shaped Frank both on and off screen.
