Tanya Frazier - Finding Hope amidst Despair - Communion, October 4, 2026

Jeremiah 29:11 is a verse frequently quoted for comfort and hope. It also reveals a complex backdrop of captivity, judgment, and hardship surrounding the cherished promise. Rather than simply being a verse of optimistic assurance, it emerges from calamity, exile, and divine discipline, but still speaks of future redemption and restoration for God's people. It also aptly mirrors the story of the cross - where hope and despair coexist. In the midst of apparent loss and defeat, there is the promise of ultimate victory and salvation. This understanding shifts the perspective from blank optimism to a more mature faith grounded in God’s plans for freedom, adoption and hope among hardship. #openheavenschurchorange  #openheavenschurch #openheavens #faith #faithjourney #faithingod  #transformation #healing #miracles #signsandwonders #discipleship #joelandruannalevi #jesus #jesuschrist #holycommunion We meet every Sunday from 10:00 am to 12 noon.
