Captain Tim North Of The Salvation Army In Newton

This podcast is with Captain Tim North of The Salvation Army. They have asked me to be their auctioneer for the 5th year in a row for their quilt auction coming up October 9th. The Quilt auction will be at The Salvation Army building on 2nd Avenue which is different from the DMACC location from the past several years. The ladies who make these quilts go to quite a bit of work to raise money for a fantastic cause. And, these quilts are beautiful too. Tim will be posting pictures of the quilts on the Salvation Army Facebook page in the next few days so you can see a preview of what these beautiful works of art look like. In this podcast we also talk to Tim about what The Salvation Army does and it's mission. Plus a bit about the history of The Salvation Army in Newton. If you have a chance come to The Salvation Army Quilt Auction on October 9th and bid on those BEAUTIFUL quilts. They are great for holiday gift giving.
