Quiet on the Creek with Coach Howard

On this episode of Paint the City Red, Coach Ray and Coach AJ sit down with longtime Volusia County basketball staple Coach David Howard for a no-holds barred conversation about rivalry, community, transfers, and what it really takes to build a winning program. They also dig into the modern reality of high school basketball: transfers, parent influence, recruiting culture, and why some programs keep their best kids while others lose them. Coach Howard makes his case for culture, continuity, and developing players from middle school through graduation, while Ray and AJ bring the heat with stories, arguments, and plenty of laughs. If you love Florida high school basketball, old school coaching talk, and rivalry drama with heart, this one's for you.
