PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #160 With Miles Johnston and Etta Volk
Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com This evening’s show began in gloriously frazzled fashion, with Rumble refusing to cooperate and forcing us to improvise, but we settled in soon enough with the usual mix of absurdity and substance. I caught up with Eric Von Essex for a meandering and very entertaining opening hour that ranged from swollen front doors, broken locks and chainsaw-based home maintenance to the practical realities of trying to keep a crumbling house and studio in one piece. We also touched on the recent FFT solution summit, the challenge of keeping on top of a growing network of contacts and guests, and the idea of eventually turning the shed into a proper in-person interview space rather than always broadcasting remotely. In hour two, Miles Johnston joined me for a wide-ranging discussion on antigravity, Victor Grebennikov, insect wing structures, Coral Castle, megalithic knowledge, Stonehenge, Tartaria, Antarctica, pole shifts and Lucy Wyatt’s book Approaching Chaos. In the final hour, Etta Volk brought her usual forceful energy to a conversation about propaganda, historical narratives, censorship, immigration, social fracture and the sense that younger generations may now be more willing to challenge official stories than their parents ever were. All in all, a chaotic, funny and provocative edition of the programme that somehow held together despite the technical gremlins at the start.Paul English Live: https://paulenglishlive.com/ Food For Thought Radio (FFT Radio): https://www.fftradio.com/ WBN324 Talk Radio: https://linktr.ee/wbn324 EURO·FOLK·RADIO: https://eurofolkradio.com/ The Global Voice Internet Radio: https://www.theglobalvoice.info/ Paul English Live on Rumble: https://rumble.com/PaulEnglishLive YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/ BASES TV: https://www.basestv.com/ BASES TV Events / Tickets: https://www.basestv.org/ Richard Vobes: https://www.vobes.com/ Lucy Wyatt — Approaching Chaos: https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Approaching-Chaos/Lucy-Wyatt/9781846942556 Maria Wheatley: https://www.mariawheatley.uk/ Coral Castle: https://coralcastle.com/ Truth11.com: https://www.truth11.com/ Earthfiles (Linda Moulton Howe): https://www.earthfiles.com/ Tucker Carlson Network: https://tuckercarlson.com/ George Carlin: https://georgecarlin.com/ Monty Python: https://www.montypython.com/ Spike Milligan: https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/authors/54510/spike-milligan/ David Irving / Focal Point Publications: https://fpp.co.uk/ Patrick J. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #158 John Briggs, Banking Fraud and a Seven-Year Sentence
Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com I opened this week’s show in a thoroughly autumnal mood, reflecting on the first real glow of the season, the strange sweetness of late September, and a memorial gathering that brought old friends, old bands and old memories back into sharp focus. From there we wandered, as we do, through Henley, black-and-white dogtooth jackets, Frank Bellamy’s magnificent comic artwork, Heath Robinson, harmonicas, Motown, and the sort of English melancholy that seems to arrive with falling conkers and warm evenings at the tail end of summer. The heart of the episode was a long and lively conversation with John Briggs, author of Alice and the Money Tree, Revisited, about debt-based money, usury, political power and the problem of how to explain financial fraud in plain English. We talked about history, propaganda, children’s stories, comics, Belloc, The Wizard of Oz, and the need to get foundational ideas across simply enough that ordinary people can grasp what sits underneath the whole system. In the final hour, Monica Schaefer joined us with grave news about her brother Alfred Schaefer, who has been sentenced in Germany to seven years in prison for speech. Monica spoke movingly about prisoners of war in the present age, the use of force when argument fails, and why the answer cannot be fear or silence but greater clarity, courage and resolve.Paul English Live: https://paulenglishlive.com/ Paul English Live on Rumble: https://rumble.com/PaulEnglishLive Food For Thought Radio (FFT Radio): https://www.fftradio.com/ WBN324 Talk Radio: https://linktr.ee/wbn324 FTJ Media: https://ftjmedia.com/?lang=english Free Speech Monika: https://freespeechmonika.com/ UK Column: https://www.ukcolumn.org/ Alice and the Money Tree by J. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #157 · With Ana, Dede and Miles
Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com I opened the show in gloriously ramshackle fashion with Eric Von Essex, a moon-over-the-sea weather report, and far too much excitement about my broken kitchen door and the unexpectedly heroic walk to the studio. From there, the evening turned into a genuinely rich conversation with Anna Isabel, who explored astrology as far more than star signs and used it as a springboard into something bigger: the long imbalance between ‘yin’ and ‘yang’ ways of living, the loss of the sacred, and the kind of civilisational values that have shaped power, hierarchy and control. We also wandered through Druids, Cathars, chivalry, community, and why so much of history seems to celebrate conquest while ignoring gentler, more collaborative societies. In hour two, after a brief wrestle with the Internet, Dee Dee Hilliard joined me to talk about CABI — the Community Assembly of the British Isles — and the practical side of restoring community life, lawful self-governance, mutual support and local resilience. We touched on food, councils, trust, self-sufficiency and why real change may come from people quietly stepping back into responsibility together. Later, Dr Miles Fleetwood dropped in to discuss natural health, nutrition, acupuncture, depleted soils, Chinese medicine and the strange gap between modern scientific confidence and what our bodies actually need. All in all, one of those evenings where sheds, sovereignty, spirit and supplements somehow ended up sharing the same table.Paul English Live: https://paulenglishlive.com/ Paul English Live on Rumble: https://rumble.com/PaulEnglishLive Food For Thought Radio (FFT Radio): https://www.fftradio.com/ Community Assembly of the British Isles (CABI): https://www.ca-britishisles.com/ Ana Isabel / Life Astrologer: https://www.lifeastrologer.com/ Astrological Association: https://www.astrologicalassociation.com/ World Council for Health: https://www.worldcouncilforhealth.org/ Dr Tess Lawrie at World Council for Health: https://www.worldcouncilforhealth.org/important-message-dr-tess-lawrie/ Richard Stanley — Otto Rahn, Grail Hunter: https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Otto-Rahn-Grail-Hunter/Richard-Stanley/9798888501559 Jon G. PAUL ENGLISH LIVE #156 · David Adelman The People’s Lawyer & Etta Volk
Broadcasts live every Thursday at 8:00p.m. uk time on Radio Soapbox: http://radiosoapbox.com NOTE: we had an Issue connecting David to hence the slightly shorter show. I kicked off episode 156 with Eric Von Essex for one of our gloriously daft shed reports before we veered into the far less amusing business of war rhetoric, conscription chatter and the increasingly absurd language coming out of politics. The main guest was David Adelman, better known as The People’s Lawyer, who joined me after a bout of technical gremlins and gave a fascinating account of how he moved from law into education, public speaking and rights-based work. We talked about his book School - No Place for Children, the failures of modern schooling, the Prussian roots of compliance culture, the misuse of language in legal settings, and why he believes people need to understand the roles and assumptions the system quietly persuades them to accept. In the final stretch, Etta Volk joined us from Chicago for a transatlantic catch-up on the state of the media, political theatre, social pressure, migration and the mood among ordinary people in both the UK and the US. We also got into the collapse of public trust, generational shifts, and whether younger people may end up dismantling broken institutions simply by refusing to submit to them. Add in harmonicas, fruit crumble, a few scandalously British food references and the usual late-night mischief, and it turned into a lively, wide-ranging show with more than a few unexpected turns.Paul English Live: https://paulenglishlive.com/ Paul English Live on Rumble: https://rumble.com/PaulEnglishLive Food For Thought Radio (FFT Radio): https://www.fftradio.com/ The People’s Lawyer: https://thepeopleslawyeruk.com/ School - No Place For Children by David Adelman: https://www.hatchards.co.uk/book/school-no-place-for-children/david-adelman/9781978370036 University of Cambridge: https://www.cam.ac.uk/ English Bridge Union: https://www.ebu.co.uk/ The Glastonbury Symposium: https://glastonburysymposium.co.uk/ Word Magic: The Powers & Occult Definitions of Words by Pao Chang: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/35171666-word-magic Sir Ken Robinson on TED: https://www.ted.com/speakers/sir_ken_robinson The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America by Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt: https://deliberatedumbingdown.com/ddd/deliberate-dumbing-down/ Mary Rodwell official website: https://www.maryrodwell.com.au/ The New Human by Mary Rodwell: https://www.maryrodwell.com.au/shop The Mark Attwood Show: https://themarkattwoodshow.com/ Lorraine Bowen official website: https://lorrainebowen.co.uk/ The Crumble Song by Lorraine Bowen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GSMCsBdCSA Britain’s Got Talent: https://www.itv.com/britainsgottalent 10 Abilities the Book of Enoch Says Humans Lost And Who Took Them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMEIPH0KWGo The Book of Enoch online text: https://www.bookofenoch.org/
