Description

What does love actually require of us when there is a real neighbor standing in front of us? Returning from a twelve-week sabbatical, Pastor Travis reflects on Paul’s words in Romans 13:8–14: “Owe no one anything, except to love one another.” This is more than sentimental love. It is love that takes shape in our choices, refuses harm, makes room for others, and asks what kind of community we are becoming together. Sometimes loving our neighbor is as spiritual as prayer. Sometimes it is as practical as changing the room. Scripture: Romans 13:8–14 Theme: Love of neighbor, grace, community, belonging, and putting on Christ
