EP 141: Stay Loose, Stay Patient: Yin and Chacarra Take Home Wins

Ruoning Yin wins again on the LPGA, Eugenio Chacarra took the win on the DP World Tour in India, and both showed us the same thing: you don’t win by forcing it. This week, Scott recaps both tours and turns it into something you can use on your next range session. Admire or Emulate? Absolutely Emulate: Ruoning Yin. What a golf SSWING. Yin’s ball flight and control have at its foundation sound functional movement. That ability to move and consistently return “face less than path” is at the heart of what we say at SSWING: muscles respond to joint positioning; get your body in the correct posture and the club finds its way back to the ball, time and time again!! The Improvement Pivot Point: Stay loose, stay patient. Tension in your hands and arms kills sequencing, and rushing your swing (or your progress) costs you control. Let your body lead and give the work time to pay off.
