A unique, eco-friendly backcountry lodge accessible only by a moderate five-mile foot trail starting at Georgia's Amicalola Falls State Park. This is an off-grid experience, from the sustainable engineering of this LEED-certified facility (including solar panels and vermicomposting...WORMS!!!!) to the absence of TVs and cell phones.  We'll discuss what it's like to stay in one of the 20 private bunkrooms, enjoy the solar-heated bathhouse, and gather for a family-style meal and if you're lucky dessert will be COBBLER!!!
