Damn You Hollywood: Resident Evil (2026)

Tonight on Damn You Hollywood, we are reviewing the 2026 iteration of Resident Evil by director Zach Cregger. Austin Abrams stars as Bryan, a medical courier whose routine delivery becomes a fight for survival when Raccoon City collapses under an Umbrella Corporation outbreak. Rather than retelling the story of Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, or another familiar game protagonist, Cregger builds an original story running alongside the events of Resident Evil 2 while attempting to preserve the pacing, tension, and survival-horror experience of the games.
