Episode #227 Muniqui Muhammad and Lena Takahashi: How Healing Land Reiki Brings Usui Holy Fire Reiki To Kyoto

In today’s journey, Tracy Searight is Joint by her Mentor  Karen Caig. This very special episode includes ICRT teachers(from the international Center of Reiki training) , and among them representing three continents.  Reiki can change your life without looking flashy, sounding mystical, or giving you “proof” on demand, and that idea alone can be a relief. I’m joined by Muniqui Muhammad and Lena Takahashi, the co-founders of Healing Land Reiki, to share how Reiki found them in Japan and how they’ve built a practice that welcomes beginners, seasoned practitioners, and international travelers looking for authentic Reiki training in Kyoto. We get real about the biggest Reiki misconceptions: treating Reiki like a wish machine, expecting instant fixes, or judging your progress by whether your hands get hot or you see color Muniqui Muhammad and Lena explain Reiki as a natural, universal energy that supports your highest good while still asking you to do your part. We also talk about the online “Wild West” of pricing and credentials, and how to choose a Reiki master teacher based on resonance, integrity, and verified training instead of hype. You’ll also hear what they offer through Healing Land Reiki, including in-person Reiki sessions in Kyoto, live Zoom Reiki sessions, English and Japanese Reiki classes, Holy Fire Reiki and Karuna Reiki training, and immersive Reiki pilgrimages in Japan. Karen joins us with thoughtful questions about the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), Mount Kurama, and unity consciousness, and we explore why sacred places deserve humility, preparation, and respect, not spiritual tourism. Healing Land Reiki was established in 2016 to provide detailed and accurate information about Reiki (a traditional Japanese healing method) to people in Japan and the world.
