🎙️ REDEEMED RESILIENCE — EPISODE 3 When Someone You Love Dies by Suicide ⚠️ Trigger Warning: Suicide, grief, and loss There is grief… and then there is suicide grief. When someone you love dies by suicide, you aren’t only grieving the person you lost. You’re left grieving with questions that may never have answers. What if I had done something differently? What if I had stayed? What if I had called? What if I had known how bad things really were? After Steven died, people told me, “It wasn’t your fault.” And I would say, “I know.” But knowing something and believing it deep inside yourself are two very different things. Because when the person you loved is suddenly gone, your mind can replay everything—the last conversations, the arguments, the warning signs you think you should have noticed, and every decision you made before that final day. In Episode 3 of Redeemed Resilience, I’m talking about what it has really been like to lose my husband to suicide—the guilt, the unanswered questions, the complicated grief, the love that didn’t disappear when he died, and learning that I can miss him while still acknowledging how difficult our story became. I’m also talking about God in the middle of it. Because grief like this can shake your faith. It can make you ask questions you’re almost afraid to say out loud. But I’m learning that faith doesn’t mean I never question. It means I keep reaching for God even when I don’t understand. This episode is for Steven. And it’s for every person who has ever loved someone they couldn’t save. You are allowed to grieve them. You are allowed to love them. You are allowed to remember the good while acknowledging the painful. And you are allowed to keep living your life while carrying their memory with you. 🤍 Redeemed Resilience with Tracey Episode 3: When Someone You Love Dies by Suicide #RedeemedResilience #SuicideLoss #SuicideLossSurvivor #Widowhood #GriefJourney #MentalHealthAwareness #FaithThroughGrief #LifeAfterLoss #SuicidePrevention #GriefAndFaith
