Daniel 4:1-3 - Peace In His Everlasting Kingdom

In Daniel 4:1–3, we see a striking contrast between the kingdom of man and the kingdom of Christ. Nebuchadnezzar, a violent king who built his empire through conquest and bloodshed, now proclaims peace to the nations. Yet Christ, the true King of Peace, establishes His everlasting kingdom not by inflicting violence, but by enduring it. Nebuchadnezzar brought suffering to others to secure his throne; Jesus suffered at the hands of others to secure His people. One kingdom advances through pride, coercion, and domination; the other through humility, sacrifice, and grace. And while the kingdoms of men rise and fall, Christ's kingdom alone endures forever.
