Tribute to Chandler Hendry | The Implications of Being Son Or Daughter of God

Send us Fan Mail God be with you till we meet again.   Chandler Hendry shares his experience on the mission in Jackson, Mississippi, where he spent two years qualifying his testimony of the restored gospel. He did this by investigating other faiths, just as much as he taught about his own. Afterward, he was tested to see whether he would ACT in faith when no one was watching, and consequently became the number 1 rookie door-to-door salesman that summer. HIs continued study eventually led to making videos in defense of the faith.   Topics discussed in this episode include the implications of being a child of God; Galatians 1:8; claims that we worship a different Jesus; the Trinity never being taught in the Bible; how Eastern Orthodoxy has the best claim on the church; spiritual intelligences and eternity; and the case for evil.    Support Chandler’s family at this link: https://l1nq.com/t54mmqu 00:00:00 - Testimony Approach & Investigator Experiences  00:01:04 - Mission Story & Early Doubts 00:06:10 - Wrestling with Faith on Mission 00:11:40 - Church Swaps & Interfaith Discussions 00:14:56 - Facing Challenging Questions 00:25:49 - Coming Home & Career Path 00:29:05 - Sales Experience & Personal Tests 00:32:21 - Post-Mission Study & Apologetics 00:39:52 - Topic-Based Study Method 00:45:05 - Worst Arguments Against LDS Beliefs 00:51:55 - Trinity and Different Jesus 00:59:59 - Defending LDS Christianity 01:02:21 - Strongest Argument Against the Faith 01:05:41 - Resources and Study Tools 01:08:55 - Defending the Faith Online 01:13:43 - Tad R.
