<p>Episode 228</p><p>Series: On the Mission Field - 27</p><p><br></p><p>Courtney Mathos is a missionary to the country of Bolivia and she joins us on the Removing Barriers Podcast to share what God is doing on the field in that country. Bolivia is a largely Catholic country, but there are significant numbers of adherents to other religions and faiths, and many inhabitants practice syncretism with their ancestral religions. As a result, you never know what you're going to encounter when you engage someone for Christ. For Courtney, a love of the Bolivian people and a deep desire to see Christ glorified is the driving force behind her dedicated work there. The Lord called her to the field during a missions internship, after He caused her to see that though she professed faith as a very young child, she was still trusting in her good works to make her righteous before a holy God.
