Description
š Episode 67: Our Relationship With Age Is Broken
Somewhere along the way, we started treating getting older like a personal failure instead of the literal privilege of being alive. And honestly... who approved that nonsense? š
In this episode, weāre talking about:
⨠Why weāre so obsessed with looking younger, acting younger, and pretending we donāt know our actual age
⨠The weird pressure women feel to āage gracefullyā while somehow never actually looking older
⨠How our relationship with our bodies, accomplishments, careers, motherhood, and identity changes as we get older
⨠The things we thought would matter at 30, 40, or 50 that suddenly don't seem so important anymore
⨠Learning to appreciate the woman we are now instead of constantly mourning the woman we used to be
Because getting older isn't the problem. Constantly believing we should be younger is.
Respectfully... we're not aging out of life. We're finally getting old enough to give fewer damn what everyone else thinks.
Letās stay connected!
