Wisdom's Resume

Why should we trust God's wisdom with the decisions of our lives? In Proverbs 8:12–36, Solomon personifies wisdom as a woman presenting her qualifications, revealing why she deserves our attention, trust, and obedience. Wisdom offers prudence, knowledge, sound counsel, understanding, and strength to navigate life's decisions. She teaches us to hate what God hates, seek godly counsel, lead with righteousness, and pursue riches that endure beyond this life. Ultimately, wisdom flows from God's own perfect nature, and Solomon calls us to seek her early, walk in her ways, and recognize the consequences of rejecting her instruction.
