Description
40th Anniversary 40 Years of Faithfulness
By Louie Marsh, 10-4-2026
1) God was faithful from the very beginning.
3 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; Isaiah 42:3 (NIV)
3 What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God? 4 By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, "That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged." Romans 3:3-4 (ESV)
2) God was faithful in getting us up river.
3 For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in your faithfulness. Psalm 26:3 (ESV)
4 For the word of the LORD is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. Psalm 33:4 (ESV)
3) God was faithful in helping us become debt free.
6 The LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, Exodus 34:6 (ESV)
4 "The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he. Deuteronomy 32:4 (ESV)
4) God was faithful getting us through the hard times.
22 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." Lamentations 3:22-24 (ESV)
11 The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him; 12 if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; 13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:11-13 (ESV)
