Slava Finist | Protocol Detroit | Techno / Trance | 2026

Slava Finist is a DJ and vinyl collector, and one of the pioneering figures of the Russian electronic music scene. His musical approach was shaped long before the emergence of streaming platforms, when searching for rare records, exploring labels, and paying attention to the details of each recording were essential parts of DJ culture. His sets bring together different eras and styles of electronic music, from house, electro, and techno to breakbeat, trance, and unexpected discoveries from his personal collection. For Finist, genre boundaries matter less than the music itself, its history, and the ability to connect records created at different times and in different contexts. His career began in 1988 at Moscow’s Studio Sokol. He later worked at M-Radio and Station 106.8, hosted his own radio show, Kruzhatsya Diski, and became associated with the Titanic club and the development of Moscow’s club culture in the 1990s. Today, Slava continues to perform, remaining one of the few DJs whose professional career spans almost the entire history of electronic music culture in Russia. detroit.moscow rndm.club https://t.me/detroitprotocol
