Send us a Message This week on Start Talking with Sadie and Scott, we’re trying to decode the ridiculous collection of acronyms, abbreviations and secret languages we’ve somehow agreed are part of everyday life. Sadie gets tested on everything from workplace acronyms to abbreviations that sound much dirtier than they actually are. We put “K.”, “Sure.” and the thumbs-up emoji on trial in Text Message Court, decipher some unnecessarily impressive job titles, and invent a few acronyms that really should exist. We also head to Reddit for an AITA involving a forgotten dinner date and one surprisingly important question: If someone forgets you and leaves you sitting alone in a restaurant for an hour, were you technically stood up?
