“I Don’t Even Know If You’re Still There” w/ Maddi Overy - Ep. 12

At 17, Maddi Overy graduated high school early and moved to London to chase musical theater. Her whole identity was wrapped up in performing. Then came the partying, a relationship built on lies, and an illness so severe doctors told her she couldn’t dance anymore. One night, a dream sent her to the floor crying out to a God she wasn’t sure was still listening. Her mom booked her a flight home the next morning, and everything changed. Maddi joins Christian and Cole to share her testimony, why she got baptized twice, and what she’s learning about praising God before the battle, from Jehoshaphat and Jericho. Plus: a live debate on whether being busy is a reason to skip a fast, the story behind Vessel, and the episode-numbering chaos you didn’t know you needed. Find Maddi’s music under her artist name Daughter. Her new song “Humility” is coming soon. Want a free paper Bible? Email us at [email protected], DM us, or drop a comment.
