Description
This Sunday morning we plan, the Lord willing to come to the book of Joel in our preaching through the Bible. Joel is a short book, but too long to read all of it from the pulpit - but it all stands linked strongly together. I am asking and encouraging each of us to read the 3 chapters (73 verses) of Joel before Sunday morning. You might just want to read it through each day between now and then! Please pray that we will gain a sense both of the judgement of God due to the sins of His people, flowing from His righteousness and the mercy of God to sinners like we are flowing from the finished work of Jesus Christ. More Sunday morning. Please pray. -------- We plan to know and experience His goodness this coming Sunday. In the morning we will hear from God through the voice of His prophet Joel. There is still plenty of time to read Joel before Sunday morning. ----- October 18, 2026 MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE Scripture Reading: Joel Text: Joel (various texts) Message: "Chronicles of Christ #29 - Joel" Theme: The call of the Lord to repentance is heard and obeyed by those who know the Lord dwells in Zion 1.
