We often blame ourselves for our mistakes and think there is no way to fix them. God who helped you come to the mistake can also help you with the solution. We see this in the powerful and dramatic events in the Viceroy of Egypt's court, when Yehuda he is trying to engineer a prisoner swap. More interesting revelations ensue, including insights into different ways that we can connect to God, our mistakes, and how to seek repairs. ___________________ Inspiration and lessons on Parsha Chayei Sarah from the Sfas Emes and other Chassidic Masters Torah translation from Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan. Often we think that the best way to resolve a problem is to put more time, effort or money into a solution. Sometimes that may be the way to solve the problem. But what if the problem presents no obvious solution? What if no amount of time and money in the world will possibly solve it? By recognizing that we have everything we need, and that everything comes from God we can merit having our eyes opened to a solution. In this teaching of the Sfas Emes we look at the dramatic meeting of Yaakov and his brother Esav, and Hagar who is left in the desert but miraculously is saved." __________________ Inspiration and lessons on Parsha Chayei Sarah from the Sfas Emes and other Chassidic Masters Torah translation from Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan.
