Angie Stroud on Her Viral Kill Tony Set, Roast Battles & AI Stealing Jokes | SHENK

Comedian Angie Stroud joins Sara Weinshenk on SHENK fresh off her appearance on Kill Tony, where her stand-up set earned an applause break and opened the door to a major new opportunity. Angie talks about her Kill Tony debut, the reaction to her jokes, and what it's like when a comedy set suddenly reaches a much bigger audience. Sara and Angie get into the art of Roast Battle, writing brutal roast jokes, and the challenge of following up a breakout performance. Plus, the conversation takes a turn into AI stealing comedians' jokes, fake AI influencers, bizarre AI-generated videos, and what this new wave of content means for women in comedy. They also discuss life at The Comedy Store, the pressure of performing for arena-sized crowds, and the strange things that take over your social media feed.
