This week on Sister Cinema Swap, Kate finally watches Halloweentown. Kate and Emily discuss Don Bluth movies, peak 90s tropes and themes, Paganism, Mary Poppins, witch royalty, generic evil villain speeches, nostalgia, chowder, adults bullying kids, and a man getting friend zoned. Additionally, Kate comes down really hard on Dylan, Emily thinks Marnie is dramatic, and they both agree that Sophie is the Chosen One. Contact Us!Email us at sistercinemaswap@gmail.comFacebook: facebook.com/sistercinemaswapInstagram: @sistercinemaswapBluesky: @sistercinemaswap.bsky.socialLetterboxd: @sistrcinemaswapArtwork by Jenni Crowley. Music by Nick Heredia.
