From the life of Abraham, we learn about worship that costs something. Costly worship sees us release what we treasure most, release our need for control and choose to trust God even when we are yet to see His provision. God is worthy of our deepest worship.

Paul urges us to offer our lives as a living sacrifice - not just on Sundays, but throughout our lives. Let us come before God with singing, dancing, clapping, and a humble posture that acknowledges that He is a great God.

How do we worship God even in the hardest of life's circumstances? Sorrowful seasons may cause us to interpret Him through our difficulties. Yet God's miracles are various: it also comes in the strength to walk through all these storms and press on. Let's declare "yet I will" today.

Who is our neighbour? We are called to serve the poor, the needy and the underprivileged regardless of race, religion and social status. We need to build lives and communities with the compassion of the Lord.

The seasons may change, but our God is everlasting and good. His grace is always enough to walk us through the ups and downs of life. Let's remember: people of faith move forward with God.
