1966 CE | Snarklet | The Marvel Super Heroes: The Origin of the Hulk / Enter the Gorgon / To Be a Man (S1E3)

A Snarklet plunge into the Hulk block of The Marvel Super Heroes, reacted to in real time and, by the hosts' own repeated verdict, the most incoherent thing they have watched on the show so far. They talk through the whole disjointed run as it plays, from a gamma bomb test where Igor pushes the button anyway, to Rick Jones somehow surviving unirradiated, to a Hulk who bunny-hops, changes pants mid-scene, and speaks in a strange drawl with none of the usual rage, to a Gorgon who launches himself by missile, flies everyone to space for no clear reason, and then blows himself up once he is cured of his grossness. Once the credits roll they turn to how it fits the larger picture and land emphatically on "it doesn't," with Jon glad there are no MCU parallels to trace at all. Both hosts agree this is the worst entry they have seen, a single issue adapted whole and every bit as scattered on screen, but they still find plenty to laugh at and close on the same advice: if you can find it, expect the worst and laugh at it.
