Daniel lived 200 years before the rise of Alexander the Great and the Macedonian Empire. This empire ruled over Greece, Egypt, and Persia. When you consider that, suddenly the prophecy we'll encounter in today's passage with Pastor Malcolm may seem shocking, it clearly demonstrates God's ability to reveal truth and foreknowledge to his prophets. It wasn't anything special about Daniel, but the eternal God he served, Who exists in the past, present, and future all at once.
