Kurt & Ash Bailey

In episode 39 I do something a little different. For the first time, I’ve got a duo on the podcast, sitting down for a yarn with Kurt and Ash Bailey. Kurt was signed to a major record label as a teenager before eventually moving from performing music to managing bands, spending years working behind the scenes with one of Australia’s biggest acts. A major health scare in his early twenties shifted his perspective on life and changed the direction he was heading in. Along the way, he met Ash, who left a career in fashion to join him in the music world. After years spent travelling and working in music, the pair developed a love for great food, restaurants and hospitality, eventually leading them to open Bar Yuki. We get into Kurt’s career in music, the turning points that influenced his outlook on life, and how he and Ash have branched into hospitality while remaining connected to the world of music. Join me as I get familiar with the dynamic duo that is Kurt and Ash Bailey. Disclaimer: coarse language https://www.loopli.com.au/ Send us Fan Mail Support the show
