Competition in church spaces rarely announces itself out loud, but you can feel it when the room is full and the fruit is thin. We sit down with raw honesty to ask the questions many believers carry quietly: Are we building disciples or just building crowds? Are we committed to spiritual growth, or are we chasing the size of the congregation because it looks like success from the outside?
We also dig into how “ministry branding” and platform culture can distort our focus. Yes, ministries have logos and media, but we challenge the heart behind it: is the work branded in Christ, or branded around a personality? If people know the leader better than they know Jesus, something is off. The gospel is not a brand, and none of us are the good news. Jesus Christ is the good news, the message of love, hope, salvation, and deliverance.
From there we talk unity in the Body of Christ and why division, strife, and public arguing sabotage our witness. Leaders carry real weight here. When we participate in gossip, backbiting, and finger-pointing, we unalign ourselves from the Head and damage the very people we are called to shepherd. Our closing charge is simple and serious: unify yourself, realign with Christ, and remember the church is not a competition.
