WWE Survivor Series 2026: War Games Feels SO Forced!

WWE Survivor Series WarGames is coming up, but does the story actually justify the match or is WWE booking everything backwards just to make WarGames happen? The Bloodline is back together, a new faction has emerged to challenge them, and suddenly everyone needs to be involved in an increasingly intense feud. But does any of it feel natural, or has WWE created a story to fit the PLE rather than letting the story dictate the match? We break down why Survivor Series WarGames is feeling so forced, whether WWE has overused the match, and why some of the best WarGames moments worked because the story demanded it. We also look at the return of the Bloodline, the mystery surrounding 9-4-6, and whether these new factions will even matter once Survivor Series is over. We're also asking whether WWE needs to rethink its entire PLE calendar. Should WarGames be saved for truly special rivalries? Why does the Royal Rumble work so well when other match-specific events can feel forced? And could bringing back Raw vs Smackdown at Survivor Series (with real stakes on the road to WrestleMania) give the event a much-needed refresh? Is WWE Survivor Series WarGames still special, or is it time for a change?
