S3, E18: From Fearless Little Girls to Empowered Momma Bears; Following our dreams so they will chase theirs.

When we are little girls, we are fearless. We dream big, laugh loud, and believe in the limitless possibilities that life holds. We're willing to chase after every aspiration with unwavering determination. But as we grow older, something changes. We become more cautious, our confidence wanes, and our dreams often take a backseat to the practicalities of life. So, what causes this shift? Societal expectations, past failures, and self-doubt can creep in, overshadowing our once-bold spirits. Responsibilities multiply, and the weight of adulthood often presses down on our dreams. Yet, even amidst these challenges, we evolve into resilient, loving beings known as momma bears. We pour every ounce of our strength and love into our children, striving to give them the world—even when we feel like we're not living up to our best. In a recent personal experience with my oldest daughter, I was reminded of the importance of showing up, no matter when we feel we fall short. It's a story I want to share with every momma bear out there. We often set impossibly high standards for ourselves, forgetting that our love, presence, and effort are what truly matter. To all the momma bears who feel like they’re falling short—remember, you are enough. Your dreams may have taken a detour, but your journey is far from over. By showing up for your children and for yourself, you teach them resilience, love, and the power of perseverance. We must keep going, not just for our children but for ourselves. They deserve to see us thrive, and we deserve to live up to our fullest potential. Let's give ourselves the grace to stumble, to rise, and to continue moving forward. After all, the world needs the fearless spirit of little girls and the unwavering strength of momma bears. Stay encouraged, and remember: showing up is half the battle.
