Episode 371: Railway Boom, Woo and A Very Civil Whist

Episode 371 — The Board Game BBQ Podcast Hold onto your meeples, because the Board Game BBQ Podcast crew is back together — Sarah's returning to the table after a couple of years away, and we are thrilled to have her back! This week, Joe, Jules and Sarah reunite for a proper catch-up on what's been hitting the table. Joe's been riding the rails with Railway Boom and testing his partner's trick taking limits with Rebel Princess. Jules has had a packed sesh with Woo, the heist-cracking Burncycle, and the aptly-named Some Assembly Required. And Sarah marks her comeback in style, diving into the chaotic sprint of Magical Athlete and the genteel card-table drama of A Very Civil Whist.   The crew also tackle this week's question of the pod: "Is Your Board Game Collection Growing or Shrinking, and Why?"   All that and more on this week's episode of the Board Game BBQ Podcast!   Sizzling Games: Railway Boom: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/448159/railway-boom Woo: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/476515/woo A Very Civil Whist: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/382909/a-very-civil-whist   Other games mentioned: Rebel Princess: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/381249/rebel-princess Burncycle: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/322656/burncycle Some Assembly Required: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/468115/some-assembly-required Magical Athlete: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/454103/magical-athlete   SPONSORS Our podcast is proudly sponsored by Advent Games and More Than Meeples.   Advent Games is an Australian online board game store based in Sydney, NSW.  http://www.adventgames.com.au/   More Than Meeples is an Australian retail and online game store based in Brisbane, QLD. https://morethanmeeples.com.au/   PATREON Hey there, BBQ fans!
