When You’ve Done Everything and You’re Still Waiting

What do you do when you’ve prayed, worked, asked, and knocked, and the door still hasn’t opened? Candace sits down with Annie F. Downs for one of their last conversations of the season, built around the part of Annie’s new book that she kept bumping into as she wrote it: you can do everything right, and there are still no promises for how your life will turn out. Candace knows the temptation to always be in control, the hope that A plus B will equal C, and the feeling of quiet disappointment when it doesn’t. Together they ask what it looks like to keep living a full life while you wait.
