397: Vegas Golf Just Got Easier - Course Conditions, Overseeding & Slow Play

Planning a round of golf in Las Vegas just got a little easier. In Episode 397 of the Chasing Daylight Podcast, Matt unveils the new Vegas Golf Course Conditions hub on ChasingDaylightPodcast.com — a community-powered resource designed to give Las Vegas locals and traveling golfers current information before they book a tee time. Golfers can report greens, fairways, tee boxes, bunkers, pace of play, what they paid, cart restrictions, maintenance issues, overseeding, and more. Recent reports automatically move to the top so golfers can quickly see what a course is actually playing like right now.  Then Matt unloads on one of golf's biggest problems: slow play. After brutal experiences at Rhodes Ranch and Boulder Creek, the guys debate ready golf, better marshaling, consequences for slow groups, and whether premium tee times should come with pace-of-play expectations.  The conversation also gets into rising Las Vegas golf prices, possible cart and water fees, LIV Golf's Chapter 11 news, the Walker Cup, the Irish Open, future Walker Cup venues, and more.  Plus, a shoutout to Harry Hall after another strong finish in Europe and an update on Chasing Daylight video episodes expanding beyond YouTube https://www.fullturngolf.com/ https://chasingdaylightpodcast.com/vegas-golf-course-conditions/ MORE CHASING DAYLIGHT Episodes, articles, golf content & the CDP Pro Shop:  https://www.chasingdaylightpodcast.com/ LISTEN TO THE PODCAST https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-chasing-daylight-podcast/id1464725572 SPONSORED BY GARSEN GOLF — Use code DAYLIGHT15 to save 15% https://garsengolf.com SHOW SUPPORTERS Gretsch Golf Academy — https://gretschgolf.com/ Las Vegas Golf Superstore — https://www.worldwidegolfshops.com/ Rohrs Golf Co — https://rohrsgolf.com/ FOLLOW CHASING DAYLIGHT Instagram — https://www.instagram.com/chasingdaylightpodcast/ X — https://x.com/CDPGolfShow Facebook — https://www.facebook.com/chasingdaylightpodcast TikTok — https://www.tiktok.com/@chasingdaylightpodcast MORE FROM THE CREW Joe's HittinGreens on Whatnot — https://www.whatnot.com/s/Cdk2Zpku Damn Good Putter — https://www.damngoodputter.com/ 1440 Golf - https://www.fourteen40golf.com/ FOLLOW THE CDP CREW Mathew Wangrycht - https://www.instagram.com/1440golf/ Joe Keith - https://www.instagram.com/hittingreens/ Jeremy Martin - https://www.instagram.com/damngoodputter Dan Hodges - https://www.instagram.com/bogey_free62/ Support the show
