404: Golf's Biggest Debates: LIV, Ball Rollback, Slow Play & Rising Costs

Golf's biggest controversies are on the table, and nobody is holding back. In Episode 404 of The Chasing Daylight Podcast, Matt, Joe, Jeremy, and Dan tackle some of the most divisive issues in golf. From LIV Golf and the PGA Tour to rising green fees, the proposed golf ball rollback, slow play, and questionable equipment marketing, the guys share their opinions on where the game is headed. Did LIV Golf actually improve professional golf? Should recreational golfers be punished for the distance professionals hit the ball? Is a $200 public golf round ever justified? And are manufacturers selling meaningful equipment improvements or simply better marketing? We also debate sandbagging in amateur tournaments, whether golfers should play from tees that match their ability, and if recreational golf needs simpler rules. Later, we turn our attention to the upcoming Internet Invitational, its expanded 64-player field, and whether internet golf events are becoming more about views than competitive golf.
