Preaching Through The Ten Commandments, The 6th Commandment Pt. 1

Nate and Jon welcome new guest, Pastor Aaron Sturgill from Cornerstone Church in Waterloo, Wisconsin. After getting to know Aaron’s ministry background and testimony, the conversation turns to the sixth commandment: “You shall not murder.” The hosts explain why this commandment is about more than avoiding physical violence, and they distinguish murder from other forms of killing addressed in Scripture, including self-defense, warfare, capital punishment, and negligent homicide. They also explore how the commandment is rooted in humanity’s creation in the image of God.
