The Fall of the Wizard

The Wizard has fled Oz—but the past isn't done with him. The Fall of the Wizard is a 25-minute audio drama special from The Chronicles of Oz, starring Rob Lloyd as the man behind the curtain. Drifting over the Deadly Desert in a failing balloon, Oscar Diggs begins recording the one story he never dared tell: the truth about his secret war with the Wicked Witch of the West, the lies that built his rule, and the moment everything came crashing down. As Oz slips further behind him, the Wizard relives the choices that shaped a kingdom: the downfall of Pastoria, the disappearance of Ozma, and the terrible bargain that put him on the throne. Recommended listening: after Season Three, Ozma of Oz, and before Season Four, Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz. Starring Rob Lloyd and Elise D'Amico, with Kara Dennison.
